Zach Staenberg was the film editor for The Matrix.
Staenberg graduated with a degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He got his start in the film industry as a production assistant for Brian DePalma The Fury in 1978.
Staenberg's first experience in film editing was as an apprentice film editor for The Omen 2 in 1978. He went on to become the film editor on many well-known films.
